When the Carolina Hurricanes hockey team lost both of its goalies to injures during the same game, they called in the emergency backup goalie, a Zamboni driver. David Ayres came to New York’s famous Rockefeller Plaza skating rink to tell his story and describe his experience of walking out on the ice.
