Noah Feldman, a Harvard law professor, told House lawmakers in a Dec. 4 House Judiciary Committee hearing that much of the evidence presented against President Donald Trump in the impeachment probe is not “hearsay” as Republicans have claimed. Feldman’s statements came in response to questions from Rep. David Cicilline, D-R.I. The focus of the Judiciary hearing, which came after the House Intelligence Committee had hearings in late November, is to define the grounds for a presidential impeachment.
