Scientists on cusp of vaccine for Ebola-like virus

Researchers have made a key breakthrough in creating a vaccine for the Lassa virus, a cousin to Ebola. The disease infects 100,000-300,000 people in West Africa annually, killing around 5,000 people a year, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
