Running 86 flights no small feat at Empire State

Hundreds of runner took from the ground floor up to see who could reach the Observation Deck during the Empire State Building Run-Up. Polish athlete Piotr Lobodzinski took the elite men’s race while Singapore’s Suzy Walsham made it up the 1,576 steps to the top. It is the 10th win for Walsham and it means she’s won a quarter of the races in the event’s 42-year history. In tennis, a rainy Italian Open saw Borna Coric knock out Brit Cameron Norrie in straight sets, winning 6-2 6-2. Coric will face either Joao Sousa or Roger Federer in round three. RT America’s Regina Ham reports.
