Question Period: Natural resource development bills, universal pharmacare — June 12, 2019

Today in Question Period the Trudeau government faced debate on a pair of pending bills that will regulate natural resources development. Bill C-69 will attempt to rewrite the rules for approving major national resource projects in Canada and Bill C-48 would place a ban oil tankers along B.C.’s northern coast. The government also faced questions from the NDP on pharmacare after a government appointed panel called for the establishment of a universal, single-payer public system.
