Overwhelmed FDNY Encourages Calling 911 Only For True Emergencies | NBC News NOW

The Fire Department of New York has reported a record number of 911 calls during the coronavirus outbreak and first responders are reporting the strain on the response system. NBC News’ Alexa Liautaud spoke with Anthony Almojera, the vice president of FDNY EMS Officers Union, who described the situation as extremely stressful.
