President Donald Trump is expected to decertify the Iran nuclear agreement on Friday. Democratic lawmakers who previously opposed the deal are now urging the president to keep it in place, arguing it gives North Korea incentive to negotiate with the international community. Vijay Prashad, historian and director of international studies at Trinity College, tells RT America’s Ashlee Banks that it will be difficult for the US to spike the agreement because it has the backing of the UN Security Council and, thus, international law.
