The International Olympic Committee amped up their concerns about the 2020 Summer Games with the realization that the coronavirus may potentially cause them to be cancelled all together. In a statement on Tuesday, senior IOC member Dick Pound said that it’s unlikely the Games would be moved or postponed and that if they couldn’t go on as scheduled in Tokyo, they wouldn’t’ happen at all. The IOC still has a three month to decide the fate of the Olympics and as of now are urging athletes to continue preparations as usual.
