“I was abused at 14 by my violin teacher” | #MeToo 2020

When London, Ont.-born violinist Lara St. John repeatedly told her school that her music teacher was sexually abusing her, she says they repeatedly swept her claims under the rug. Years later, the Curtis Institute of Music says it’s currently reviewing all allegations of sexual misconduct that may have occurred on campus. Her music teacher was never charge by police.
