Egypt ‘isn’t doing what it takes to protect Coptic citizens’ – Human Rights Watch

Dozens of Coptic Christian families in Egypt displaced by the recent rise of ISIS attacks targeting them have been moved to camps and aid buildings. But Copts who face discrimination at the hands of their non-Christian neighbors and their own government say their basic human rights are being ignored. Ahmed Benchemsi, communications and advocacy director for Middle East and North Africa at Human Rights Watch, joins RT America’s Manila Chan to discuss theor long history of discrimination and exclusion and the especially grim situation they face today.
