CF33: A virus designed to kill cancer

Scientists have created a powerful cancer-fighting virus called CF33. It is derived in part from cowpox, a virus found to protect people from smallpox some 200 years ago. CF33 has been shown to successfully shrink cancerous tumors in mice and its inventors plan to commence human trials of this breakthrough treatment.
