Black people ‘constantly retraumatized’ by police shootings & justice denied – activist

Chicago’s Black Lives Matter organization and other Illinois community groups have sued the federal government to try to make them follow through with Obama-era Justice Department promises of police reform, federal oversight and a consent decree. After Mayor Rahm Emanuel backtracked on his support for the measures, rumors emerged that he was quietly working with Attorney General Jeff Sessions to block attempts to hold the Chicago Police Department accountable. Kofi Ademola, a Black Lives Matter organizer from Chicago, joins RT America’s Ashlee Banks to discuss.
